An ear, a nose, a little pink paw,
an eye, a whisker, she jumps to the floor.
A purr, a meow, she jumps on the bed,
on to the pillow where you lay your head.
She's rubbing your face, she's pawing your hand,
she pokes you again, hopes you'll understand,
runs to the kitchen, circles around,
then rubs your legs with a chirruping sound.
Out comes breakfast, oh! what a sight,
she purrs and purrs with all her might.
Is it salmon this morning, oh sheer delight,
I'm so very hungry mum, after sleeping all night.
